Joe Biden is the current president of the United States of America. He is the 46th president of the United States of America. On January 20, 2021, he gained command. Biden is the first and only African-American to be elected to the White House. From 2009 until 2017, he was the 47th Vice President of the United States. He was a United States Senator from Delaware from 1973 until 2009 before becoming Vice President. Joe Biden grew born in a middle-class Pennsylvania family where his parents instilled in him the value of hard work, determination, and endurance. They constantly pushed him to speak up for himself and bounce back after setbacks. He used to stammer as a child, but he overcame it by memorizing and repeating long portions in front of a mirror. He went on to study law and became interested in politics as well. He joined the Democratic Party and became involved in politics while continuing to practice law. He was 29 years old when he won the 1972 U.S. Senate election in Delaware and took office the next year. His career was threatened by a horrible family tragedy, yet he stubbornly persevered. He established himself as a popular senator and raised his objectives. In 2008, he was chosen as presidential candidate Barack Obama’s running mate, and the Obama-Biden ticket went on to win the election. In 2012, they triumphed once more. Joe Biden launched his candidacy for the Democratic presidential nominee for the 2020 election in 2019. He was named as the Democratic Party’s presumptive presidential contender in 2020. Childhood and Adolescence
Joe Biden, the eldest of four children, was born on November 20, 1942, to Catherine Eugenia “Jean” and Joseph Robinette “Joe” Biden, Sr. He was brought up as a devout Catholic. His father worked as a used car salesperson who supplemented his income by cleaning furnaces.
He went to Claymont’s Archmere Academy and graduated in 1961. He was a mediocre student who, from an early age, demonstrated great leadership qualities and was voted class president both his junior and senior years. He was a gifted football player as well.
He subsequently transferred to the University of Delaware, where he continued to play football while studying history and political science. During his freshman year of college, he was more concerned with socializing and having a good time than with academics.
While in college, he fell in love with a girl, which inspired him to take his life more seriously. After graduating from the University of Delaware in 1965, he began working hard and was accepted into the Syracuse University Law School. While still a student, he married the following year. In 1968, he graduated from law school.
Career of Joe Biden
He relocated to Delaware to pursue a legal career and started working at a law company. He became involved in politics at this time as a member of the Democratic Party, and in 1970 he was elected to the New Castle County Council.
In 1972, he ran for the United States Senate as a member of the Delaware delegation, defeating Republican incumbent J. Caleb Boggs. He was the fifth-youngest senator elected in the United States’ history, at the age of 29.
When the young man’s wife and children were killed in a horrible car accident, it was a crushing tragedy. His wife and daughter were killed, while his two boys suffered serious injuries. Even though Biden was grieving, he took the oath of office on January 5, 1973. He had to balance his political career with his responsibilities as a single parent to his two sons during the next five years, which were quite tough for him. Despite his personal traumas, he tirelessly carried out his political obligations and earned the respect of his colleagues.
He established himself as a hardworking and ambitious politician during the next few years. He formulated various foreign and domestic programs as a senator and served as chairman of the Committee on Foreign Relations for several years, earning him a reputation as one of the Senate’s top foreign policy experts.
In addition to foreign policy, Biden was a key figure in criminal justice and drug policy concerns. From 1987 until 1995, he was a member of the Committee on the Judiciary, which he chaired. He was a member of the International Narcotics Control Caucus, as well.
In 1988, Biden ran for the Democratic presidential nomination but was defeated. In 2007, he declared his candidacy for president for the second time, after a two-decade hiatus. He did not, however, receive much support and eventually withdrew out of the race.
Barack Obama, the Democratic presidential contender, enjoyed friendly relations with Biden and admired him for his decades of political experience. In the 2008 presidential race, he chose Biden as his running partner. The election was won by the Obama-Biden ticket.
Obama was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States on January 20, 2009, while Biden was sworn in as the 47th Vice President on January 20, 2009. With his extensive expertise as a senator, Biden was instrumental in assisting President Obama in stabilizing the American economy in the aftermath of the global financial crisis.

Personal History and Legacy
He fell in love with Neilia Hunter while still in college and married her on August 27, 1966, while still a law student. They had two sons and one daughter together. Biden was left to care for the remaining children after Neilia and their daughter died in a tragic accident in 1972.
In 1975, Biden met Jill Tracy Jacobs, who gave his life new meaning. The couple eventually married in 1977 after falling in love. The pair has a daughter together.
