Because of his quickness and precision, he was dubbed “the fastest and most feared bowler” in the competition.

Following that, Rabada joined “The Highveld Lions,” a professional cricket team. Then, in a domestic first-class cricket league known as “The Sunfoil Series,” he participated for the “Lions” and claimed seven wickets in two games.

Career in India and the IPL

Following up his outstanding showing at the “Under-19 Cricket World Cup,” Kagiso Rabada took a record-tying 14 wickets for the “Lions” in a match against the “Hollywoodbets Dolphins” in February 2015. He participated in two “County Championships” and six Twenty20 (T20) matches for the Kent County Cricket Club while he was in England. Rabada was selected for INR 50 million by the Delhi Daredevils, an “IPL” side, in the February 2017 “IPL Player Auction.” In January 2018, the “Delhi Daredevils” purchased him once more. Nevertheless, an injury kept him out of the 2018 “IPL” season.

He signed on with the Jozi Stars, a South African franchise side, to participate in the first Mzansi Super League T20 cricket competition in October 2018. As an IPL player in 2019, he was a member of the Delhi Capitals.
