Joseph Franklin “Joey” Bragg is an American actor and comedian best known for his roles in the Disney Channel series Liv and Maddie and the television film Fred 3: Camp Fred. He gained particular recognition for playing Joey Rooney in Liv and Maddie and Peter Magoo in Fred 3: Camp Fred, with these characters becoming closely associated with his career. Joey Bragg was born on July 20, 1996, in Union City, California, and grew up in a Jewish family. He is one of four siblings and has an older brother named Jack and a sister named Dove. He attended James Logan High School, which is part of the New Haven Unified School District in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Before pursuing an entertainment career, Bragg was interested in ice hockey. At the age of 12, he participated in the California Cougars Pee Wee “B” Ice Hockey Championship. He continued to enjoy skating and became known for his skills on the ice.

Joey Bragg began dating American actress Audrey Whitby in 2013. The two reportedly met while working on Liv and Maddie. Whitby was also part of the cast of The Thundermans.
Besides acting and comedy, Bragg enjoys skating and photography. He has also been associated with the Disney Channel Circle of Stars music group. In his personal life, he is known to be an animal lover, particularly fond of cats.
