A well-known American singer, rapper, and record producer under the stage name Mac Miller was Malcolm James McCormick. On January 19, 1992, Malcolm James McCormick was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His father was an architect, while his mother was a photographer. His parents are members of several faiths. His father was a Christian, but his mother was Jewish.

At the Pittsburgh Hip Hop Awards in 2010, Mac Miller took home two prizes.
Since The Dogg Pound’s 1995 album “Dogg Food,” his debut, “Blue Slide Park,” was the first independently distributed release to debut at number one.
Although the most of his albums and mixtapes were hits on the charts, his first album is still considered to be his best effort.

Personal Legacy & Life

In order to reduce tension, Mac Miller admitted that he used a promethazine and codeine combo known as “purple drank” or “lean” during his 2012 Macadelic Tour.

In November 2012, he stopped using promethazine before beginning the filming of his reality series, “Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family.”
Before 2013, Mac Miller had a four-year relationship with a woman. His mixtape “Macadelic” contained many songs that were inspired by his love with the lady.

TMZ claimed in August 2016 that Mac Miller and American singer Ariana Grande were dating. Later, Ariana Grande confirmed the rumors in an Instagram post.
On September 7, 2018, he passed away at his Los Angeles residence in Studio City after what seemed to be a heroin overdose.

‘Best Day Ever’ was the title of Mac Miller’s fifth studio album, which featured the song ‘Donald Trump’, which was named after the United States’ current president.
During a tour to Upstate New York in February 2011, Miller and his buddies were detained for the night after being found in possession of marijuana. However, the dispute was ultimately resolved.
