Greg Fuller, often known as LostNUnbound, is an American YouTube gamer and pundit who is well-known for his namesake channel. He is an ardent supporter of the Oklahoma City Thunder, an American professional basketball team. He primarily shares gameplay videos for the “NBA 2K” and “Madden” series, but he also occasionally shares recordings of audience reactions to events at his favorite NBA team. One of these videos, titled “Thunder Fan Reaction to Kevin Durant Signing with the Golden State Warriors,” which was posted online on July 4, 2016, went viral and helped him gain media exposure. Other NBA fans responded to his outbursts by uploading their own videos, and ESPN also aired a portion of the footage. He has continued to publish videos on succeeding incarnations of the “Madden” and “NBA 2K” series as well as videos on certain other video games, like “FIFA 14: Ultimate Team.” He also publishes videos of himself taking on challenges, playing outside, reacting to NBA games, and other things. In order to post random games and humorous challenges, he started a second channel called “LNUPlays” in November 2015. However, as of November 15, 2015, the channel appears to be dormant, and he has only published five videos there.

The Epic Ascent to Stardom

On June 7, 2011, LostNUnbound launched his own YouTube channel. It took him a while, though, for him to upload his first video. On July 9, 2013, he published his debut YouTube video, titled “NBA 2K14 Player Rosters for NBA 2K13.” His early videos focused on “NBA 2K14,” but he quickly began sharing gameplay clips for “Madden NFL 25.” After a few months, when he began to gather subscribers, he joined the TGN network, which offers up-and-coming YouTubers a place to develop. Later on, he returned to “NBA 2K14” and began posting videos on “FIFA 14: Ultimate Team.” It took him a while to get to 100k followers because he didn’t publish any videos in his first two years on YouTube. However, once he started posting regularly to YouTube, he steadily racked up subscribers and within another year, hit 500k. His viral video reaction to Kevin Durant leaving his favorite team gave him an increase in subscriptions and views. On his YouTube account, he currently enjoys an astounding 890k subscribers. Additionally, he has a considerable fan base on Twitter and Instagram.

Disputes and scandals

While LostNUnbound gained prominence and fame as a result of the widely shared video of his rants and his following social media engagements, he received a lot of backlash in the middle of 2016 for paying his editors less than the going wage. The matter came under public notice after YouTuber Anthony alias “Prince Prodigy,” who was also one of the individuals who once edited videos for him, accused him of paying meager fees and failing to give him proper credit. He admitted that he received just about $15 for each video he edited, to which another “NBA 2K17” YouTuber, “JesserTheLazer,” responded that given how much money he makes from YouTube, he should have paid at least $300 for each video.

Soon after, more people began to share similar stories about how he either paid them pittances or even provided them with free labor while continually delaying the promotion of the other YouTuber’s channel. Many aspiring YouTube gamers and commentators wanted to work with LostNUnbound because of how many subscribers he had in order to gain some recognition. While using their services, LostNUnbound declined to advertise their channels and paid very little, if any, in fees. The information immediately circulated, and some of the editors and other YouTubers joined forces to criticize him. Later, he posted a video claiming that the accusations were untrue and that he had only paid $15 for partial edits and not for work on entire videos. Additionally, he asserted that the majority of the work was completed years ago when he himself was not a particularly well-known YouTuber earning a lot of money. In another video, he debunked suggestions that he had plagiarized content from other YouTubers’ videos. The films he posted on these topics have since been removed, though.
