In South Carolina between 2003 and 2016, Todd Kohlhepp, a prominent American serial killer, was found guilty of killing seven people. His criminal career started when he was 15 and committed a rape. A 14-year-old girl was taken hostage by him, bound, and transported to his house. Todd got his start in crime young. When he made the decision to abduct and rape a girl who was a year younger than him in 1986, he was still a teen. The victim was a Tempe resident who was 14 years old. She was severely raped by Todd after he abducted her from her home, bound her with a rope, and took her to his house. He also threatened to kill her horribly if she revealed the details of her trauma, but the rape was somehow reported.
When Todd was detained by the police and questioned, he claimed that he had committed the crime voluntarily. His father was harsh and frequently absent, even when Todd lived with him. This was his method of rebelling against him. His mother supported him and sent a letter to the probation officer pleading with him to be kind to Todd because he was aware of what he had done and felt bad about it.
The sexual assault charge was withdrawn, and Todd received a prison term for kidnapping instead. He was jailed for 15 years and required to register as a sex offender. Crimes of Todd Kohlhepp
Police discovered Kala Brown, a young woman, on Todd’s property on November 3, 2016. Kala was discovered alive, “chained like a dog.” Todd was picked up right away. A few days later, Todd’s land saw the discovery of Kala’s boyfriend’s body in a shallow grave. He had taken many gunshot wounds.
After being questioned by the police on November 5, Todd showed them where two other remains had been discovered. Johnny Coxie and Meagan McGraw-Coxie, who were both reported missing in December 2015, were the victims. Both the couple and Kala’s boyfriend had sustained several gunshot wounds.

When Todd Kohlhepp stated that he had killed a number of more persons who had not yet been located by the police in late 2016, the police began investigating his possible connections to additional homicides.
