Career of AJ Pritchard

Hewitt and AJ Pritchard tried out for “Britain’s Got Talent” in 2013, and both the judges and the public praised them. Before being eliminated, the two advanced to the semi-finals.
In 2016, Pritchard continued her career by competing on the television program “Strictly Come Dancing.” “Strictly Come Dancing” is a popular British dance competition reality television series that airs on BBC One. It was created by Fenia Vardanis, Richard Hopkins, and Karen Smit. During the show, professional dancers and celebrity contestants compete in ballroom and Latin dance competitions. A panel of judges assigns marks out of 10 to each couple of dancers. The show is a continuation of the venerable television series “Come Dancing,” as the title suggests. It also closely references “Strictly Ballroom,” an Australian romantic comedy from 1992. More than 40 nations have reproduced the model, which also gave rise to the spin-off “Strictly Dance Fever,” which has a modern dance focus. The present hosts of the program are Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly.

Since the show’s debut in 2004, fifteen full seasons have been televised. Right now, the 16th season is airing. Dame Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas, and Alfonso Ribeiro make up the current judging panel. In the 14th series of the show, Pritchard became a cast member. He was partnered with artistic gymnast Claudia Fragapane, who took home four gold medals from the 2014 Commonwealth Games, in his debut year. She competed for Britain in the Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics in 2016. Together, she and Pritchard finished fourth in the competition. Furthermore, Pritchard received high marks from the judges for his creative choreography.

His partner in the fifteenth series was singer-songwriter Mollie King, a former member of the girl group “The Saturdays.” It was reported in April of 2018 that she and Matt Edmondson would co-host a BBC Radio 1 program. Throughout the history of the show, King and Pritchard have been one of the most well-liked pairs. As the show was airing, there were even rumors of a potential romance between them. Pritchard subsequently stressed, though, that they were simply very good friends. They finished the championship in fifth position after being ousted in the semi-finals.

His partner in 2018 was Lauren Steadman, who took home silver in the Women’s PT4 at the 2016 Summer Paralympics and gold in the 4 × 100 m freestyle relay with 34 points at the 2009 IPC World Championships (SC). At the semi-final stage, the two were eliminated.
He appeared on BBC’s “Celebrity MasterChef” in September 2018, but left after his apple crumble infuriated the judges. To support the Stand Up to Cancer campaign, Pritchard and Louis Smith collaborated on the celebrity edition of “Hunted” the following month.
