The following year, she appeared in minor roles in one film, Angel Blade, directed by David Heavener, and one television series, Greg the Bunny. In the series ‘The O.C.’, Righetti portrayed the free-spirited sibling of Kirsten Cohen (Kelly Rowan) from 2003 to 2005. Although she appeared in only 12 of the show’s 92 episodes, it helped her acquire traction in her career.

During her tenure on ‘The O.C.’, she was also cast in the short-lived soap opera ‘North Shore’ as Tessa Lewis, a former con artist who advances to the position of Assistant Concierge by exploiting others. This was the first television series in which she was a prominent cast member. She subsequently appeared in the 2005 ABC Family telefilm Romy and Michele: The Beginning.
