He played basketball at school during his senior year. He participated in the Catholic High School Athletic Association’s Senior Classic All-Star game.

He enrolled in New York University (NYU) on a scholarship after finishing high school. He initially chose to major in pre-medicine but subsequently switched to economics. He participated in the men’s basketball team of the NYU Violets as a center from 2005–06 until 2008–09. In his final season with the team, he served as co-captain.
After graduating from NYU, he started a ticket agency that was focused on selling tickets for events held at Yankee Stadium and Madison Square Garden.

Career of Big Cass

He received professional wrestling instruction from Johnny Rodz, a retired American professional wrestler, at his school in Brooklyn, New York City. He made his professional wrestling debut on May 30, 2009, with Rodz’s indie wrestling promotion, “World of Unpredictable Wrestling.” He went under the stage moniker “Big Bill Young.”

In June 2011, he acquired a contract with Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), which at the time served as the WWE’s official developmental territory. His first televised FCW bout, which he competed in under the ring name “Colin Cassady,” was shown on the September 4, 2011, episode of FCW TV. He made his first televised FCW appearance the following month.

After suffering a string of defeats, he finally triumphed over Kenneth Cameron in a match that was broadcast on FCW TV on March 11, 2012. Morrissey defeated Aiden English in his final FCW TV contest.
Morrissey made his NXT broadcast debut on June 5 of the following year in a match against the Welsh professional wrestler Mason Ryan, although he lost the match. In August 2012, the WWE rebranded FCW as NXT.

Morrissey formed a tag team with Enzo Amore, who had previously lost to Ryan, and referred to them as “the realest guys in the room.” When the two met as kids playing basketball together at West Fourth Street Courts in Manhattan, New York, Morrissey already knew Amore from their time together.
With Ryan, Morrissey and Amore got into a fight. The two also had a beef with Alexander Rusev, Scott Dawson, and Sylvester Lefort.

Carmella joined the team and participated in multiple matches with them.
Morrissey and Amore attempted to win the NXT Tag Team Championship, however, they were not successful. On May 20, 2015, at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, for NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable, they competed in a title match against the reigning champions Blake and Murphy. On December 16, 2015, in London for NXT TakeOver, they faced Dash and Dawson, the reigning champions.

After “WrestleMania 32,” on April 3, 2016, Morrissey made his main roster debut with Amore on the Raw against “The Dudley Boyz.”

The team advanced in the competition to determine the top contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship after defeating “The Ascension” in their main roster debut match on the April 14 episode of “SmackDown.” The pair advanced to the tournament’s championship tag team match, which took place on May 1, 2016, at the Payback event at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, where they were defeated by ‘The Vaudevillains’ (Aiden English and Simon Gotch) through technical knockout.

In May 2016, he changed his ring name to “Big Cass.” The defending champions, ‘The New Day,’ (Big E and Kofi Kingston), won the WWE Tag Team Championship by defeating the tag teams of Morrissey and Amore, Gallows, and Anderson, and The Vaudevillains in the fatal 4-Way tag team match for the title on June 19, 2016, at the ‘Money in the Bank’ event at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.

During the 2016 WWE draft, Morrissey and Amore were selected for Raw. After defeating Rusev, the US Champion, on the August 22, 2016, episode of Raw, Morrissey earned a spot in a four-way elimination contest for the WWE Universal Championship against Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Kevin Owens. However, Owens eliminated him.
When they fell to the reigning champions, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, on March 5, 2017, Morrissey and Amore were still unable to capture the “Raw Tag Team Championship” championship.

The pair also competed in a fatal four-way ladder match for the Raw Tag Team Championship on April 2, 2017, at “WrestleMania33,” which took place at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. They faced off against the reigning champions, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, Cesaro and Sheamus, and The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy), where ‘The Hardy Boyz’ won the match.

Morrissey changed into a horrible guy after he unprovoked attacked Amore, pretended to be attacked, and ultimately ended his relationship with Amore. He began a conflict with both “Big Show” and “Amore” as a result of this. On August 21, 2017, while wrestling versus Amore, he legitimately injured his knee, necessitating surgery and an eight-month absence from competition.

During the 2018 Superstar Shake-up, he made a comeback. On June 19, 2018, the WWE released him. This dismissal was ascribed by “Sports Illustrated” to his behavioral problems, which included disobeying Vince McMahon, the chairman and CEO of WWE.

Morrissey will return to professional wrestling on September 21, 2018, under the ring name “Big Cazz,” according to a statement made on August 2 by “Big Time Wrestling.”
