American actress and singer Brooke Elliott gained international recognition and honors for her outstanding performance as “Jane Bingum” in the television series “Drop Dead Diva.” She has made several appearances in various facets of show business, such as theater, television, and small screen. She began working as a waitress in a theme restaurant in 1998 after graduating from Western Michigan University with a “B.A. in Fine Arts,” where she was even obliged to dance atop tables. She eventually moved to Chicago in 1999, where she worked as a cast member for a theater company called “Babes with Blades.” She spent ten weeks working with the theatrical group, and among of her favorite parts were playing out and replicating scenes from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, The Miracle Worker, and Heather.
