Become a Star

Chico Bean, who was born and raised in Washington, DC, started doing stand-up comedy over ten years ago in Greensboro, North Carolina, a city he believes to be lacking in comic ability. He became well-known after a successful run as Chris Wiles’ opening act.

As his fame increased, he joined forces with B-Daht and Darren Brand to create the comic troupe “Freestyle Funny Comedy Show” in 2009. Later, DeMar ‘OsamaBinDrinkin’ Rankin, Sr. joined the group. They continued to do stand-up comedy at numerous colleges and universities as well as comedy clubs.

After learning about Chico Bean’s stand-up performances in North Carolina, Nick Cannon flew him to the Gotham Comedy Club to take part in a set for his ‘Fresh Faces of Comedy stand-up show in 2011. Strangely, when he arrived at the club, he was informed that he had to adhere to a set of rules for his performance, one of which required him to leave out profanity from his sketch.

He had to spend a lot of time outside redoing a sizable chunk of his set. Outside the club, Cannon overheard him chatting to himself. After his performance, he discovered that he had only recently prepared and delivered an impromptu set.

Chico Bean’s spontaneity really surprised Nick Cannon, who said that many well-known comedians lacked such talent and urged him to keep trying. He returned home and carried on his group’s performance. After learning about the upcoming season of “Wild ‘N Out” via Twitter, Cannon traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina, where Bean gave an audition in front of him before being flown to New York to give another one in front of the show’s producers.

Chico Bean was later flown back for a group audition, but he was accepted for the MTV show after passing all three auditions. Since then, he has continued to appear on the program and has established a reputation among notable comics. He was one of the most well-liked cast members and was awarded the title of “Most Valuable Player” following the completion of Season 9 filming.

Chico’s Individual Life

On February 20, 1987, Anthony Jamal Bean was given the name Chico. When he was just two years old, his father was assassinated on the streets of Washington, DC. To raise him alone, his mother had to overcome several challenges. In contrast to his uncles, who lived on the streets and left nothing behind except memories, Bean, who had lost six family members to gun violence, made the early decision that he would leave a material legacy for his people.

He had not previously imagined himself as a comic, but he now wants to be regarded as one of the greatest entertainers of all time. He was referred to as “Chico” by one of his uncles. He attended college in North Carolina, where he also started his career as a stand-up comedian. Although he has become well-known for his rapping, he claims that this did not happen by accident because he had been exposed to the culture since he was a little child.

He learned to sing and rap as a child, which benefited him when he performed on “Wild ‘N Out.”
Pierce Chanel, his daughter, is 10 years old. He hasn’t revealed who her mother is, though, and nobody has ever romantically connected with him.

Estimated Net Worth

Chico Bean’s net worth is said to be $4 million, according to sources. He largely earned this through his artistic endeavors and endorsement deals.
