Christopher Peter Meloni is an actor from the United States who is best known for his roles in the television series ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.’ He discovered his passion for acting in college and went on to study it at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Christopher Meloni was born on April 2, 1961, in Washington, D.C., to endocrinologist Dr. Charles Robert Meloni and homemaker Cecile Meloni. He has two older brothers and sisters. Christopher Meloni’s father is of Sardinian heritage, and his mother is of French Canadian origin.

He attended St. Stephen School in Virginia for his education. He was a member of the football team at school.
