American football player Desmond Demond Bryant competes for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League as a wide receiver (NFL). He was up in Galveston County, Texas, and attended Lufkin High School, where he started off as a football player for the Panthers. Later, he decided to attend Oklahoma State University to play collegiate football. He did well for his club, and the Dallas Cowboys selected him in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He committed to a $10 million contract with the Cowboys. Since then, he has been playing for them. He has established himself as one of the team’s most effective players throughout the years. Dez Bryant has also encountered legal issues numerous times. He was detained in 2012 on suspicion of assaulting his natural mother, Angela Bryant. Early Childhood & Life

Dez Bryant was born on November 4, 1988, to a single, young mother in Galveston County, Texas. He had a difficult upbringing.
He eventually relocated to Lufkin, Texas, where he attended Lufkin High School and became interested in football. He participated in football for the Panthers.

As a junior, he caught 48 receptions for 1025 yards and 16 touchdowns. He contributed to Lufkin’s 14-1 record alongside defensive lineman Jamarcus McFarland. During his senior year, he caught 53 passes for a total of 1207 yards. Although Round Rock defeated Lufkin 38-25 in the regional round of the playoffs, Lufkin finished the regular season 11-1 overall. Bryant participated in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl following the season.

He used to participate in track and field as well, and he was a top triple jumper in the state. He was also regarded as a superb hurdler.

Career in College

From 2007 through 2009, Dez Bryant studied at Oklahoma State University. He joined the Oklahoma State Cowboys football team during this time. He showed himself to be a very effective athlete. In a game against the University of Kansas Jaywalks, he set a school record for receiving yards in a game by a freshman.

He kept up his strong play, and for Oklahoma State, he concluded the 2008 campaign with 87 receptions for 1,480 yards and 19 touchdowns. He was, however, declared ineligible for the remainder of the 2009 season due to breaking an NCAA rule.

A career in the Profession

Due to his exceptional abilities throughout his time in college, Dez Bryant attracted a lot of attention and developed the reputation of being the best wide receiver available. The Dallas Cowboys selected him in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He committed to them for about $10 million over five years.

In a game against the Washington Redskins in September 2010, he made his NFL debut. In his first game, he recorded eight receptions for 56 yards. He kept up his strong play, catching four passes for 54 yards and two scores in a game against the New York Giants in October. He also scored on a 93-yard punt return. With 45 receptions for 56 yards and six receiving touchdowns, he ended his debut season.

He faced the New York Jets in his opening game of the 2011 campaign. He made three catches and scored one touchdown. However, his squad was defeated 27–24 in the game.
He played the Washington Redskins in his second game. Despite being hurt, he managed four receptions for 63 yards in the contest, which resulted in a win for his team. The rest of the season saw him play admirably, as he ended up with 63 receptions for 928 yards and 9 touchdowns.

Despite the fact that his performance during the 2012 season had improved, he sustained an injury in the second part of the campaign. He had 92 receptions, 1382 yards, and 12 touchdowns at the end of the season.

His subsequent campaign got underway with a game against the New York Giants. He was able to lead his side to victory with four receptions for 22 receiving yards. He finished the year with a career-high 93 catches, 13 touchdowns, and 1233 yards.

He played very well in 2014, which was also the final year of his contract. His career’s most fruitful year to date was that one. He hauled in 88 passes for 1320 yards and 16 touchdowns during the season. He was chosen for his second Pro Bowl appearance as a result of his outstanding performance.

He agreed to a second, $70 million contract with the Cowboys in March 2015. He was limited to nine games during the season, though, due to injury. He nevertheless had 401 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns at the end of the campaign.

His outstanding performance persisted in both the 2016 and 2017 campaigns. He has 838 yards, 69 receptions, and six touchdowns at the end of the 2017 campaign.

In 2016 and 2017, Dez Bryant appeared on the NFL Top 100 Players list twice. He held the 51st spot on the 2016 list while moving up to the 60th spot on the 2017 list.

Dez Bryant and Ilene Nash are romantically involved. Zayne and Dez Junior are his two sons.
Bryant and his biological mother, Angela Bryant, have a strained relationship. She was detained when he was eight years old for selling crack cocaine. He was detained in 2012 on suspicion of assaulting a woman at home.
