“The Dreamkiller,” Gaston Bolanos is a professional kickboxer, Muay Thai fighter, and mixed martial artist who is currently contracted with Lion Fight Promotions LLC and Bellator MMA. Gaston quickly realized that combat sports could be a viable career choice because of his innate athletic ability. He is one of the MMA and kickboxing world’s fastest emerging stars, having trained at the esteemed “Combat Sports Academy” in Dublin, California. He’s had a dazzling career in Muay Thai as well. He was titled the “United States Muay Thai Champion” in addition to becoming the “South American Muay Thai Champion” twice. As if these successes weren’t enough, the youthful kickboxer entered the “Bellator MMA” scene, where he has emerged victorious from four of his five matches through knockout. He has also gained notoriety for mastering the deadly “spinning elbow” maneuver, which is his signature move. Gaston Bolanos, whose MMA career is just getting started, is headed for stardom in the combat sports industry.

Fame & Career of Gaston Bolanos

At the age of ten, Gaston Bolanos began training in Muay Thai at the “F-14 School of Champions” in Lima, Peru. As he began to win junior amateur bouts, his innate brilliance became evident right away. He and his father went to California, USA, when he was thirteen years old.

By chance, the “Fairtex Mountain View” Muay Thai training facility was near his residence. Without hesitation, he began training there under the careful supervision of Kirian Fitzgibbons and Jongsanan Fairtex, two experienced trainers. It also marked the start of his long-term collaboration with trainer Fitzgibbons, who continues to be his mentor and guardian to this day.

Gatson earned the moniker “The Dreamkiller” at the age of sixteen due to his attitude. After the “2008 IFMA World Championships” in Busan, South Korea, Gatson decided to devote himself full-time to combat sports. However, as a minor, he required legal guardianship, and his father was already preparing to return to Peru.

It was at this point that Kirian Fitzgibbons chose to take on the role of legal guardian for Gatson, thus solidifying their bond. Gatson was able to complete his high school education as a result, and he then relocated to Dublin, California, where he trained under Kirian at “Combat Sports Academy” before turning pro.

When Gaston began fighting guys twice his size and age, he was mostly successful. His incredible amateur record reads only one tie, three losses, and twenty-three wins. Additionally, it is commonly known that Gatson illegally wounded the arm of an older opponent who was losing during an amateur bout at the “6-Flags theme park” in California. Despite this, Gatson not only continued the fight, but also knocked the opponent out with a straight right cross.

His successes in Muay Thai are evidence of his development and proficiency. He has won two titles as the “South American Muay Thai Champion” and even the “United States Muay Thai Champion,” which made him a formidable opponent in the kickboxing world. Moreover, he competed twice for the United States at the “IFMA World Championships.”

Gatson made his professional debut at “Lion Fight 14” against Brian Del Rosario. He gave Rosario a straight “spinning elbow” to stop the fight. This marked the beginning of his renowned “spinning elbow,” or “hellbow,” which he has used to great effect throughout his career. He has an amazing record of 8 victories and 0 defeats in pro kickboxing after Khronpet Phetrachapet’s solitary loss at “Lion Fight 27” was reversed.

It was only fitting that Gatson Bolanos entered mixed martial arts (MMA) after receiving all these honors. He made the announcement that he has signed with Bellator MMA on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. His multi-platform contract enables him to participate in Muay Thai and MMA competitions. On February 18, 2017, he faced Abner Perez in his first mixed martial arts match and prevailed via first-round TKO.

Regretfully, on September 23, 2017, he was defeated by technical submission in his second matchup against Brandon Laroco. He has now been one of the fastest-growing fighters after winning his last three fights, which were against Rick Gutierrez at “Bellator 189,” Malcolm Hill at “Bellator 199,” and Ysidro Gutierrez at “Bellator 206.”
