Australian cricket player Glenn Maxwell is a terrific fielder, a handy bowler, and an explosive batter. Glenn Maxwell began his professional cricket career in July 2009 when he signed with the Victoria state squad.

He participated in the Australian Institute of Sports’ “Emerging Players Tournament” and the “Hong Kong Cricket Sixes” competition in January 2010.
He played his first-class debut for “Victoria” against “NSW” in February 2011. When he hit the fastest fifty in Australian domestic One-Day cricket during the “Ryobi One-Day Cup,” he instantly became well-known.

He participated in two Indian Premier League matches for the Delhi Daredevils in 2012 and played club cricket for the South Wilts and Hampshire Second XI teams in England. He struck an undefeated 145 off 65 deliveries in a T20I match against Sri Lanka in 2016 after missing the Test and ODI matches during Australia’s 2016 tour of Sri Lanka.

Amid accusations of match-fixing, he made his first-ever test century in Ranchi against India in March 2017. In the 2017 IPL season, he was also named captain of “Kings XI Punjab,” although he was not successful.

In the 2017–18 season, he not only helped Australia win the Trans-Tasman Tri-Series but also turned in an incredible performance in the Big Bash League (BBL). He also recorded his maiden double century during the ‘Sheffield Shield’ competition in 2017.
