He married actress Nikki Cox on December 29, 2006, two years later. The pair met for the first time on the set of the television show “Las Vegas.” Adding Nikki’s surname, he legally altered his name to Jon Ferguson Cox Mohr.

On May 5, 2011, the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Meredith Daniel Mohr. However, after a few years, their union began to fail. Jay stated on ‘The Adam Carolla Show’ on May 16, 2017, that a divorce is imminent.
