Joseph Mark Trohman, better known by his stage name Joe Trohman, is an American musician and record producer. He is most known for being the lead guitarist and backing vocalist for the rock band ‘Fall Out Boy.’ He’s also the lead guitarist for ‘The Damned Things,’ a heavy metal supergroup. Joe Trohman began his musical career when he was sixteen years old, when he joined a local band and began travelling as their bassist. Then he established the rock band ‘Fall Out Boy’ with Patrick Stump, Pete Wentz, and Andy Hurley.

Island Records released this band’s CD ‘From Under the Cork Tree’ in 2005. This album was a smash hit, and it paved the way for the band’s mainstream success. The album reached #9 on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States and was certified double platinum. This album conquered the music world like a boss, with big songs like ‘Sugar, We’re Goin Down’ and ‘Dance, Dance.’

Fall Out Boy followed up with the album ‘Infinity on High’ in 2007. This album reached #1 on the Billboard 200 list in the United States, and its lead single, ‘This Ain’t a Scene,’ also reached #1 on the now-defunct Pop 100 chart. Even ‘Infinity on High’s second single was a great hit. The band’s fifth album, ‘Folie à Deux,’ was released in 2008. This album reached #8 on the Billboard 200 chart and was later certified gold.

Trohman and Hurley, together with other artists such as Rob Caggiano, Keith Buckley, Scott Ian, and Josh Newton, formed the band ‘The Damned Things’ and published their first album, ‘Ironiclast,’ in 2010. Trohman then teamed up with Newton to form a new band.

In 2012, the band ‘With Knives’ issued its debut EP, titled ‘Schadenfreude.’ The members of Fall Out Boy collaborated and released their album ‘Save Rock and Roll’ the following year. In the same year, the band issued ‘PAX AM Days,’ another EP. Then, in 2015, they released their sixth album, ‘American Beauty/American Psycho.’
