American bassist Justin Hills is currently a member of the rock group Sleeping with Sirens. He was a part of a different group called For All We Know before he joined Sleeping with Sirens. At first, Justin Hills and Gabe Barham played together in the band For All We Know. In 2009, they broke up with the band and joined Sleeping with Sirens. Lead guitarist Brandon McMasters, bassist Paul Russell, rhythm guitarist Dave Aguliar, drummer and percussionist Alex Kaladjian, vocalist Kellin Quinn, vocalist Brian Calzani, and lead guitarist Brandon McMasters were the initial members of the group. The CD performed mediocrely on its own. It peaked at number 36 on the US Indie chart and number seven on the US Top Heatseekers chart.
The group released “Do It Now Remember It Later,” a new track that will be included in their next album “Let’s Cheers to This,” on April 7, 2011. They released “Fire,” another single, a few weeks later. In the end, the album was released on May 10, 2011. This one peaked at number five on the US Hard Rock chart and was also released by Rise.
The group released their first acoustic EP, “If You Were a Movie, This Would Be Your Soundtrack,” on June 26, 2012. They released a new song, “Dead Walker Texas Ranger,” for Halloween in October of that year. “Feel” is their last album released through Rise and their most successful album to date. When it was released on June 4, 2013, it reached its highest position at number two on the US Hard Rock chart and number three on the US Billboard 200 list. Based on six reviews, it has received 74 out of 100 points on the review aggregator site Metacritic, indicating “generally positive reviews.”
Sleeping with Sirens released “Live and Unplugged,” their sole live album to date, on April 8, 2016. This is also their second acoustic release following the EP “If You Were a Movie, This Would Be Your Soundtrack.” They also released their debut box set, “The Rise Years,” in that same year.
Warner Bros. published Sleeping with Sirens’ fifth album, “Gossip,” on September 22, 2017. It peaked at position 38 on the US Billboard 200 ranking. The foursome started its global Up Close and Personal Gossip tour in October 2017. The quartet embarked on the European leg of the tour in May 2018.
