A South Korean actor, singer, and songwriter the name of Lee Dong-hae. He is a member of “Super Junior,” the biggest boy band in the world. Lee is also connected to “Super Junior-M” and “Super Junior-D&E,” two of the band’s sub-groups. Additionally, he is the principal dancer for the dance company SM The Performance. After being signed by “S M Entertainment,” his singing career officially began. In 2005, after honing his acting, singing, and dancing skills, he joined the boy band “Super Junior.” In 2006, he made his acting debut in the horror film “Mystery 6.” After then, he proceeded to work in a number of other films, such as 2007’s “Attack on the Pin-Up Boys,” and in TV shows, such as 2010-2011’s “It’s Okay, Daddy’s Girl,” 2011-2012’s “Skip Beat,” 2012’s “Ms. Panda and Mr. Hedgehog,” and 2013’s “God’s Quiz” (2014). Early Childhood & Life

On October 15, 1986, Dong-hae was born in Mokpo, Jeollanam-do, South Korea. His name Dong-hae, which means “East Sea,” is a translation of his family name, Lee.

His father wanted his kid to become a singer even though he couldn’t pursue his own passion of being a singer because he was a football player at first. In addition, Lee was encouraged to try singing by a South Korean singer who was in the business. For Lee, what began as a simple audition in his seventh grade grew into a full-time profession.
He studied at Myongji University and earned an arts degree. To pursue a career in music, he also went to music lessons.

He was contacted by “S M Entertainment” after winning the Best Outward Appearance Award at the SM Youth Best Contest, and the business eventually signed him in 2001. He then began his singing, dancing, and acting lessons.

Following his training, he was added to the group Smile, which also included four other people. It didn’t work out for the band for some reason. In 2004, it was given the new name “Super Junior 5”. Later, the group adopted the name “Super Junior.”

On November 6, 2005, Career Lee made his stage debut as a band member on the music program “Popular Song.” Because the program was shown on the SBS network, “Super Junior” also became known as “SJ” and “SUJJU.” The band had thirteen members at its height, making them the largest boy band in history.

Twin, the group’s debut album, was released in 2006. The album’s lead track, “Knock Out,” became a big smash and propelled it to the third position on one of the music charts.
The second single from the album, “Miracle,” became even more popular in 2006, topping nearly all of the country’s music charts.

They formed a smaller group called “Super Junior-T” in February 2007 and released their debut song, “Rokuko.”

Another sub-group was established in April 2008. Its name was “Super Junior-M,” and it eventually rose to prominence as one of Korea’s most popular sub-groups. The band’s members won practically all of the leading brands’ advertising contracts due to the group’s extreme popularity. They also made numerous appearances in Chinese ads.

‘Sorry, Sorry’ (2009), ‘Bonamana’ (2010), ‘Mr.Simple’ (2012), ‘Sexy, Free & Single’ (2013), ‘Mamacita’ (2014), ‘Devil’ (2015), and ‘Play’ are some of the other albums from ‘Super Junior’ that have been released (2017). Most of them made it to the top of music charts across the nation.

Career of Lee Dong-hae

In the 2006 film “Mystery 6,” a horror documentary, Lee made his acting debut. He portrayed a character who had a gift for seeing and sensing ghosts.

He made his breakthrough appearance in a music video the same year, playing a human-turned-cyborg.
He appeared in the 2007 film “Attack on the Pin-Up Boys,” in which he had a fascinating part.

Lee and Eunhyuk began co-producing music at about the same time. Later, in April 2012, their debut track with the title “Oppa, Oppa” was made available in Japan.
He appeared in the Korean TV show “Ms Panda and Mr Hedgehog” in 2012. He portrayed a patissier in the show who, despite appearing harsh on the surface, had a tender heart. Lee also performed the theme song, “Please Don’t.”

Another song titled “Still You” was released in Japan and Korea in December 2013 by Lee and Eunhyuk.

The Japanese album “Ride Me,” by Dong-hae and Eunhyuk, was released in February 2014. Lee had a cameo appearance in the same year’s short film “The Youth-Rumor.”

In 2014, he was also given a role in the fourth season of “God’s Quiz.”
Dong-hae and Eunhyuk successfully published their first Korean album, titled “The Beats Go On,” in February 2015. They have also gone on concert tours together.

At the Singapore e-Awards in 2013, Lee received recognition as a solo artist in the “Most Popular Korean Actor” category. Many honors have been given to “Super Junior,” including the “Mnet Asian Music Awards,” “Golden Disc Awards,” “MTV Asia Awards,” “Teen Choice Awards,” etc.

On October 12, 2015, Lee Dong-hae enlisted as a conscripted policeman. He received his release on July 14, 2017.
