Actress, singer and producer Leslie Eileen Easterbrook hail from the United States. For her role as Sgt. Debbie Callahan in the “Police Academy” movie series, is most recognized. Her father, a voice and music professor, gave her her first acting lessons and prepared her for operatic roles. She played a hospital nurse in her first movie, “Just Tell Me What You Want,” which was released in 1980. She also made her television debut in the comedy “Me and Maxx” that same year. Career of Leslie Easterbrook

Leslie Easterbrook made her cinematic debut in the 1970s, although she had already made a name for herself on stage. She made an appearance in Neil Simon’s comedy “California Suite” on Broadway in 1976. In 1978’s Tony Award-winning original production of “On the Twentieth Century,” she co-starred with Kevin Kline. Along with “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz,” “A Bradbury Binary,” “Christmas with Cart,” “Lotus Land,” “A Stroll with Poets,” and “Yankee Doodle Dandies,” she has performed on stage extensively.

She played Michelle in ABC’s action adventure “Fantasy Island” (1982), made her first appearance on television in an episode of NBC’s “Me and Maxx,” and made her big-screen debut in “Just Tell Me What You Want.” She also had recurring parts in the CBS sitcom “Ace Crawford, Private Eye” (1983). In ABC’s “Laverne & Shirley,” she played Rhonda Lee in her first significant screen role (1980-83). Lee, an aspiring singer/actress who was tall, curvy, and a little ditzy, made her acting debut in the episode “Welcome to Burbank” from season six and went on to appear in 50 more.

In numerous episodes of the ABC love drama “The Love Boat” (1981–1983) as well as the Angela Lansbury-starring film “Murder, She Wrote,” Easterbrook played a variety of characters. In two episodes of “Superman: The Animated Series” (1997) and later in the series’ video game adaptation (1999), she supplied the voice of Mala.
In the 1984 film adaptation of The Police Academy, she was portrayed by Sgt. Callahan. She gave the role a strong sex appeal while maintaining a strict work ethic. In its five sequels, “Back in Training” (1986), “Citizens on Patrol” (1987), “Assignment Miami Beach” (1988), “City Under Siege” (1989), and “Mission to Moscow,” Easterbrook would return to the role. In “Police Academy: The Series,” which aired from 1997 to 1998, Callahan also made an appearance after she had left the department and been elected district attorney.

She played the Mother Firefly, a role previously played by Karen Black in the 2003 prequel “House of 1000 Corpses,” in the 2005 movie “The Devil’s Rejects.” In addition to earning Easterbrook the Chainsaw Award for Best Supporting Actress at the 2006 Fangoria Chainsaw Awards and the Scream Award for Most Vile Villain, which she shared with some of her co-stars, the film was a sleeper smash and earned positive reviews from critics.

In the brief horror series “The Funny Man,” Easterbrook portrayed Beatrice (2011). Nightlights (2014), Rivers 9 (2015), The Killing Hour (2016), and Beast Mode are some of her most recent works. The Book of Habbalah: Book 1; Vendetta; William Froste; Path; and Abnormal Attraction are among the films in which she will star. She also produced the previous project.

She has performed “Am I Blue” and “Team Thing” for the Police Academy movie soundtracks.

Individual Life of Leslie Easterbrook

Leslie Easterbrook is the adopted daughter of Carl and Helen Easterbrook. She was born on July 29, 1949, in Los Angeles, California. She was raised in Nebraska’s rural Arcadia. Later, she received assistance from her father, a voice and music professor at the University of Nebraska in Kearney, who also taught her the trumpet for the television show “Laverne & Shirley” and helped her prepare for operatic roles. Easterbrook attended Kearney High School before enrolling in and completing his studies at Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri.
On May 17, 1979, she wed actor Victor Holchak. She married writer-producer Dan Wilcox in 1988, following their divorce. The couple is without kids.

She donates her time and money to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund as a board member. She also works for a number of children’s charities, such as Variety Children’s Charities, The Sunshine Kids, and Girls, Inc.
