American actress and artist Melinda Culea is best known for her portrayal as ‘Amy Amanda Allen’ in the action-adventure television series ‘The A-Team’. Melinda Culea’s Career

Melinda Culea traveled to New York in her early twenties from her native Illinois to join a prominent modeling agency and receive training there. After nearly four years of studying the modeling game, she relocated to California for more television prospects. She found a few opportunities and appeared in a number of commercials, including a well-known Burger King ad.

Her debut television appearance was in 1981’s “Dear Teacher,” in which she portrayed “Annie Cooper.” She subsequently participated in various television episodes, including ‘The Rules of Marriage’ in 1982, ‘The Devlin Connection’ in 1982, and ‘Fantasy Island’ in 1983, despite the film’s lack of success.

In 1983, she signed on to play ‘Amy Amanda Allen’ in the American action-adventure television series ‘The A-Team’, which was her biggest role to date.

As the series progressed, Melinda Culea’s significance diminished and she was relegated to a supporting role.
