The second wife of American political consultant, lobbyist, and strategist Roger Stone, Nydia Stone is a Cuban-American photographer, former model, and political figure. Her spouse has worked on the campaigns of important Republican politicians like Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Jack Kemp, Bob Dole, and Donald Trump. He is infamous for repeatedly courting negative press. Nydia Stone has long been active in American right-wing politics, just like her husband. She supposedly worked as a photographer at the Ronald Reagan White House as well as for President Richard Nixon. She appeared as herself in the 2017 film “Get Me Roger Stone,” which followed the life of her husband.

Become a Star

Nydia Stone started working as a professional model and posed for regional advertising and marketing campaigns after her family immigrated to the US from Cuba. While she enjoyed success as a model for a while, she eventually realized she had a passion for photography. She used her savings to buy a high-quality camera so she could start experimenting with it.

Within a short period of time, she made the transition from being in front of the camera to being behind it and started accepting modest jobs for photoshoots for certain clients and events. Later, she was successful in landing additional photography jobs for reporting. She contributed her skills as a news photographer to a number of political campaigns, including that of President Ronald Reagan in the 1980 election. Both of them have occasionally been in the media for various reasons since she started dating political consultant Roger Stone.

Individual Life of Nydia Stone

On May 8, 1946, Nydia Stone was born in Cuba as Nydia Bertran. Prior to Fidel Castro seizing control of the nation, Nydia’s father worked as a diplomat for Cuba. Her early years were spent in a wealthy region of the nation where she attended elite schools. But in 1959, when Fidel Castro took over and communist authority was established in the nation, her father made the decision to emigrate to America with the family. She decided to start working instead of returning to school after moving to the USA.

Relationships of Nydia Stone

When Nydia Stone was a photojournalist for one of President Ronald Reagan’s campaigns, she first met Roger Stone. Both of them had been married before; Nydia had been in a brief marriage before starting her photography career, and Roger had been married to Anne Wesche from 1974 to 1990. They fell in love right away and eventually were married in 1992 in Las Vegas.

Disputes and scandals

After becoming embroiled in a controversy in 1996, Nydia Stone and her husband, Roger Stone, appeared on the pages of tabloids as well as mainstream media. According to ‘The National Enquirer,’ Roger and Nydia, who were both 44 at the time and 48 at the time, had put explicit ads and images online and in the September issue of ‘Local Swing Fever’ magazine in order to find each other partners for sex. Nydia’s credit card was used to purchase the advertisement, which said, “Hot, insatiable lady and her handsome body builder husband, experienced swingers, seek similar couples or exceptional muscular single men.” Nydia was depicted in a black negligee, which her husband later claimed was from a commercial photo shoot she participated in as a model in 1986. He said that the picture of himself without a shirt on was taken at a bodybuilding competition in 1993.

In a two-page report that hinted at “an acrimonious divorce” five years prior and placed the blame on an unnamed “sick, disgruntled” individual who had been posting sexy and suggestive pictures of him and his wife on mate-swapping websites for several years, Roger had denied the claims that they were involved in publishing the advertisements. Later, he claimed that a domestic worker he had fired for substance misuse was the culprit because he had access to both his computer and the key to his post office box. Roger still had to leave his position as a consultant for Senator Bob Dole’s presidential campaign.

‘The New Yorker’ published a story on Roger Stone called ‘The Dirty Trickster’ more than ten years later, in which Roger confirmed that the advertising were real and explained that the reason he had initially denied it was because his grandparents were still alive. The couple, who were frequently condemned for engaging in shady political maneuvers, were named by some as Lucy Ramirez and the “unknown man” holding the envelope in relation to the Bill Burkett letter in March 2004. More recently, after Twitter terminated her husband’s account in October 2017 as a result of his personal assaults on several CNN journalists covering Robert Mueller’s Russian probe, she came out in defense of her husband.
