Joyner was born on July 19, 2000, in Norman, Oklahoma to parents Mike Joyner and Dinah Joyner. His siblings Luka, Hannah, and Hayden reared him. Luka is the oldest and an athlete at the national level. Hannah and Hayden are Joyner’s half-sisters by way of their mother and Ryan Guntz, their stepfather.
Joyner was initially enrolled at Oklahoma High School but found it extremely difficult to manage both whiles filming television series. Therefore, he enrolled in correspondence courses at Oklahoma Connections Academy. He used to study between filming sessions. Joyner appreciates rock music, music, drumming, and longboarding.
