Cho-rong Park is a South Korean songwriter, singer, and television actress who is best known as the lead singer of the girl band Apink. Childhood & Adolescence
Park Cho-rong was born into a middle-class family in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea on March 3, 1991. She is the second daughter of three sisters raised in Chungcheongbuk-do.
Her father was a master of Hapkido and the owner of a martial arts academy for children. Due to her father’s influence, she spent eight years training in Hapkido and earned a third degree black belt.
Park began her education at Byungsul Kindergarten School and attended Bukang School for elementary and middle high school. She graduated from Choongbook High School. Along with martial arts, she studied dancing as a child.
