She is best known for creating the animation Network show ‘Steven Universe,’ making her the network’s first female animation creator. As a storyboard revisionist, Rebecca Sugar first joined the ‘Adventure Time’ cast. She was promoted to storyboard artist for the show a month after being hired, and she made her debut in the episode “It Came from the Nightosphere”. She produced an animated short film called “Singles” during this time. In addition, Sugar continued to contribute to “Adventure Time” while also starting to work on the show “Steven Universe.” She worked on “Adventure Time” up to the fifth season, at which point she shifted her attention to “Steven Universe.”
