English singer and musician Reece Bibby is currently a member of the pop-rock group New Hope Club. He was formerly a part of the band Stereo Kicks. His father, a musician himself and a native of Lancashire, served as his main source of inspiration. Reece learned how to play the guitar by viewing videos on YouTube. He initially tried out as a soloist for “The X Factor”‘s eleventh season in 2014 but was turned down. He and seven other contestants were placed as a group by the judges because they believed that the boys would perform better as a unit than as individual vocalists. Early on in the competition, the group Stereo Kicks was successful, but they were ultimately eliminated. Prior to their dissolution as a result of failing to sign a record deal, they released their debut single, “Love Me So,” in June 2015. In October 2015, Reece subsequently joined New Hope Club. In May 2017, they released their ‘Welcome to the Club’ first extended play. New Hope Club, one of the most promising new bands, has supported numerous musicians and groups, including The Vamps, on their tours.

The Career of Reece Bibby

Reece Bibby was able to get the judges’ attention despite failing the boot-camp stage of “The X Factor,” and they placed him in a group with seven other boot-camp stage losers: James Graham, Jake Sims, Chris Leonard, Charlie Jones, Casey Johnson, Barclay Beales, and Tom Mann. After only a few hours of being together, they gave their first performance at the boot camp, singing a rendition of Snow Patrol’s “Run.” All four judges thought highly of it and gave them a standing ovation. They were even praised by Simon Cowell as being among the best bands to ever take part in the competition.

They were given a position in the judges’ homes stage after their performance when they sang Justin Timberlake’s “Mirrors” and advanced to the live shows. The band’s name was decided by audience vote as the group gained a devoted following and was even frequently compared to One Direction. Within a few weeks of being uploaded, their cover of Leona Lewis’ “Run” earned over a million views on “The X Factor’s YouTube account.

During the first week of the live performances, Stereo Kicks sang “Roar” by Katy Perry. But in the second week, they were pitted against Chloe Jasmine in a sing-off. Fortunately for the boy band, Jasmine was eliminated by the panel of judges. In the fourth week, they faced off in another sing-off, this time with Lola Saunders, and once more prevailed. In the end, they were ousted in the quarterfinal, placing them in fifth place overall.

On June 21, 2015, Stereo Kicks released their debut single, “Love Me So.” On the UK Singles Chart, it peaked at position 31 and immediately overtook all other physical singles. Reece and the others were understandably dissatisfied when they failed to secure a significant record deal in the next months. On July 18, 2015, they announced their decision to split up on their Facebook page. The next week, they had their final joint performance at Island Beats at Thorpe Park.

George Smith and Blake Richardson first founded the band New Hope Club in September 2015. In October, Reece joined the group. While Richardson sings and plays the bass, drums, and guitar, he and Smith are the group’s singers, guitarists, and pianists.

The group’s members are all natives of Northern England. They began by doing tributes to several bands, notably The Vamps. He was signed by Steady Records, a record company owned by The Vamps, in December 2015. After The Tide, New Hope Club was the second act to sign with the label.

They released their debut EP, “Welcome to the Club,” on Hollywood Records via Steady Records on May 5, 2017. In January 2017, the “Perfume” music video was released. Along with the EP, the song “Fix” received a music video. They remained on the Billboard Next Big Sound chart for ten weeks, once even climbing to the fifth position.
On the tours of The Vamps, The Tide, Tini Stoessel, and Sabrina Carpenter, New Hope Club supported them. On June 1 and 2, 2018, the group had their first opportunity to play as the opening act in a concert at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

They contributed “Good Day” and their cover of Mud’s “Tiger Feet” to the soundtrack for the movie “Early Man” in 2018. Additionally, they released music videos for the singles “Start Over Again” and “Medicine,” which are not from an album.
