A quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL), Robert Griffin III is an American football player. He was born to army officers in Okinawa, Japan. After the family relocated to Copperas Cove, Texas, Robert enrolled in neighborhood schools. Robert was a star on the football team at “Copperas Cove High School,” which he attended. Later, while attending “Baylor University,” he dabbled in NCAA football. Robert was selected in the 2012 NFL Draft by the “Washington Redskins.” He exceeded expectations and helped his team defeat the “New Orleans Saints” in his debut game. For his first game, he was also named the “Offensive Player of the Week.” Robert set records for both the most throws and the highest touchdown-to-interception ratio during his debut season. Early Childhood & Life
Robert Griffin Jr. and Jacqueline Griffin’s son Robert Griffin III was born on February 12, 1990, in Okinawa, Japan. His parents were both employed by the ‘US Army.’ The family soon relocated to New Orleans. His parents retired from the service in 1997 and made Texas their permanent home.
Robert has always had a passion for athletics, especially football and track & field, and this began when he was a teenager. Prior to then, he had received track training from his father and competed for the AAU, a team that his father coached, winning a few tournaments. He also took first place in the age group national competition.
Robert played football and baseball while a student at Copperas Cove High School. However, football remained his first love throughout his early years. He continued to run on the tracks as well. He completed passes for more than 2,000 yards, 25 touchdowns, and only 2 interceptions in the 2006 season. He received first-team ‘All-District 16-4A’ recognition for his efforts.
At the same time, he set numerous hurdles and state records in Texas and gained notoriety in track and field competitions. The Gatorade Texas Boys Track & Field Athlete of the Year award was given to him in 2007.
He had a significant impact on his high school team’s ability to advance to the state championship finals during his senior year. Numerous prestigious universities offered him programs as soon as his graduation date was approaching.
Robert enrolled in ‘Baylor University’ in 2008, and he eventually graduated with degrees in political science and communications. His major objective, though, was to play football. Robert was able to restart his second season because he had participated in 25% of the games that season. Robert had a 7-6 record at the end of the year.
The ‘Bears’ weren’t anticipated to play well at the start of the 2011 campaign. However, because of Robert’s incredible performance, the team won to start the season. Through the course of the season, the team’s performance improved with his help.
Robert had 4,293 throwing yards and 37 passing touchdowns toward the end of the season. Because of this, he became well-known among “NFL” teams. Robert stated in 2011 that he anticipated being selected in the 2012 “NFL Draft.”

The ‘Washington Redskins’ selected Robert as the second overall choice. In 2009, Robert Griffin III began dating Rebecca Liddicoat while still a student. 2013 saw the marriage of the pair. Reese Ann Griffin, a daughter, was born to the couple in 2015. In 2016, they made divorce papers.
Robert started dating heptathlete Grete Adeiko of Estonia in 2016. In July 2017, Gloria, a daughter, was born to them. They were wed in 2018.
Since his time playing college football, Robert has made numerous appearances in TV ads. He has appeared in advertisements for brands including Gatorade, Adidas, EA Sports, Nissan, and Subway over the years.
