Sal Vulcano began his career as an improvised comedian, actor, producer, and scriptwriter in the 1990s. He is a co-founder of ‘The Tenderloins,’ a prominent live improv and sketch comedy team that comprises Mike Boccio, James Murray, and Joe Gatto, three of his closest boyhood friends. He originally met these three at Monsignor Farrell High School, when they were brought together by their shared interest in comedy and acting. In April of 2012, they started a podcast called ‘The Tenderloins Podcast.’
When he appeared on Carson Daly’s NBC comedy show, ‘It’s Your Show,’ he made his first breakthrough. He won the competition, and it was then that he began to be acknowledged as a gifted comic!

Personal Life of Vulcano
Salvatore Edward Anthony Vulcano was born in Staten Island, New York City, New York, on November 6, 1976.
When he was a child, his parents divorced. Jenna Vulcano, his younger sister, has appeared in a few episodes of his show, ‘Impractical Jokers,’ three to be exact. She is seen in intimate situations with the other three jokers in every episode. This was frequently the punishment for Sal Vulcano’s unfinished dares, much to his displeasure!
Monsignor Farrell High School was his alma mater, and he graduated in 1994. In his freshman year, he encountered his boyhood buddies Mike Boccio, James Murray, and Joe Gatto in religion class. He then enrolled in St. John’s University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance in 1998.
