Sarah Chalke is a Canadian actress who is best known for her recurring roles in the critically acclaimed CBS sitcom “How I Met Your Mother” and the NBC comedy series “Scrubs.” At the age of eight, Sarah developed a love for acting and began appearing on several Canadian children’s television shows. Over the years, she has appeared in a number of films in a range of supporting parts. Chalke has additionally played a variety of recurrent parts in other television series. She is still a leading lady in supporting parts in both films and television shows. She is also a voice actress who debuted in the popular Adult Swim animated series “Rick and Morty” in 2013 as Beth. Early Childhood & Life
Douglas and Angela Chalke welcomed Sarah Louise Chalke into the world on August 27, 1976, in Ottawa, Canada. German native Rostock was the mother. Sarah has two sisters: Piper Chalke, the older, and Natasha Chalke, the younger.
When Sarah was a little child, her family relocated from Ottawa to North Vancouver. She received her diploma from North Vancouver, British Columbia’s Handsworth Secondary School in 1994.
At the age of eight, Sarah started her acting career and performed in a number of musical theater shows. She was selected as a reporter for the popular Canadian children’s television show “KidZone” when she was 12 years old, beating out many other contenders.
She played Lecy Goranson in the 1993 season of the American sitcom “Roseanne.”

In December 2013, Sarah started lending her voice to the popular Adult Swim animated sitcom “Rick and Morty” as Beth. Since she has been providing the character’s voice. As of May 2018, the show had been renewed for a further 70 episodes.
In the popular NBC comedy television series “Scrubs,” Dr. Elliot Reid was portrayed by Major Works Chalke in a casting call in 2001. She portrayed Dr. Reid for nine seasons, up to the show’s conclusion in 2010.
She made cameos in the critically acclaimed CBS situation comedy series “How I Met Your Mother” as Stella Zinman, Ted Moseby’s on-again, off-again love interest.
Personal Legacy & Life
Jamie Afifi, an attorney, and Sarah Chalke are set to wed. Charlie Rhodes Afifi, their son, was born on December 24, 2009, to them both.
Her son Charlie was given the Kawasaki disease diagnosis when he was two years old. Additionally, in May 2016, their daughter Frankie Afifi was born.
Both Sarah’s grandma and aunt passed away from breast cancer despite receiving early diagnoses. She promotes raising awareness of breast cancer as a result.
To raise awareness of the causes and early detection of breast cancer, she also starred in the Lifetime film “Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy.”
