Scarlett Noel Pomers is an actress, singer, and songwriter from the United States who has appeared in television, cinema, and theater. In a tribute album to the band named ‘Rock & Roll Train: A Millennium Tribute To AC/DC,’ she covered an AC/DC classic, ‘It’s a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock ‘n’ Roll).’ AC/DC, an Australian hard rock band, initially performed the song. It was the first single from the band’s T.N.T. album, which was released in December 1975. Pomers’ rendition was released on iTunes on December 10, 2010.

Scarlett Pomers was taken to an anorexia nervosa treatment facility in 2005, after her weight had reduced to only 73 pounds as a result of the illness. This was attributed to not eating correctly and exercising for more than six hours every day. In January 2006, she was released from the facility.

When she returned to work following her treatment and was away for the most of Season 5 of ‘Reba,’ she was greeted with a thundering round of applause. In fact, her eating condition was mentioned in the first episode of Season 6. “Where have you been?” Reba inquired of the character Kyra, to which Kyra replied, “I went to grab something to eat.” “Where are you going?” Van, played by Steve Howey, asked her in the same episode as she was walking towards the kitchen. “I’m going to get something to eat,” she answered, and Van added, “see you next year!”

She became an ambassador for the National Eating Disorders Association in 2006 and founded Arch-Angels in 2007. It provides funds for persons who are afflicted with eating disorders and are unable to pay for treatment.

‘Teen Individuals’ magazine named her one of the 20 kids who will change the world in 2006 for her efforts to aid people suffering from anorexia nervosa.
She eats only plant-based foods. After reading a book on Golden Bridge studio director Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, she began practicing Kundalini yoga in June 2006 and received her teaching degree in the technique.
