Scarlett Pomers was taken to an anorexia nervosa treatment facility in 2005, after her weight had reduced to only 73 pounds as a result of the illness. This was attributed to not eating correctly and exercising for more than six hours every day. In January 2006, she was released from the facility.
When she returned to work following her treatment and was away for the most of Season 5 of ‘Reba,’ she was greeted with a thundering round of applause.
