Song Il-gook is a well-known South Korean actor and television host. He is well known for playing Jumong in the popular drama ‘Jumong.’ He’s also appeared in shows like ‘Goodbye My Love,’ ‘All About Eve,’ ‘Bodyguard,’ ‘Emperor of the Sea,’ ‘The Kingdom of the Winds,’ ‘Crime Squad,’ ‘Fermentation Family,’ and ‘A Man Called God,’ to name a few. Aside from these, the actor has appeared in a few films, including ‘The Art of Seduction,’ ‘Red Eye,’ ‘Entangled,’ and ‘Tattoo.’ He’s also a sketch artist who’s modeled for a number of fashion houses, brands, and businesses. Career of Song Il-gook
In 1999, Song Il-gook made his acting debut in the drama series ‘Did We Really Love?’ Following that, he starred in the TV shows ‘Goodbye My Love’ and ‘All About Eve.’ He appeared in a number of TV shows in 2002, including ‘Hard Love,’ ‘Jang Hui-bin,’ and ‘Album of Life.’ The actor was cast as Han Sung-soo in the drama ‘Bodyguard’ a year later. Soon after, he played Yeom Moon in the television series ‘Emperor of the Sea.’
Song Il-gook first appeared on the big screen in the 2005 film ‘The Art of Seduction.’ Later that year, he appeared in the film ‘Red Eye.’ He was cast as Jumong in the drama series “Jumong” in 2006. Personal Experiences of Song Il-gook
Song Il-gook was born in Seoul, South Korea, on October 1, 1971. Kim Eul-dong, his mother, is a politician and a former actress. He received his bachelor’s degree from Cheongju University and his master’s degree from Chung-Ang University. On March 15, 2008, the actor married High Court Judge Jung Seung-yeon. He became the father of triplets Song Dae-han, Song Min-guk, and Song Man-se after a few years.
