English rapper Soph Aspin is a member of the Blackpool Grime Media roster of grime musicians. Blackpool Grime Media is the most active of three densely populated YouTube channels that are deeply anchored in the Blackpool grime scene. She is best known for her feuds with Little T, Millie B, and Courtney Jade, who are all members of BG Media. On Instagram, she already has more than 200k followers. She refers to herself as the “proper queen of Blackpool grime” and is also a YouTube celebrity in her own right. She enjoys doing live performances in front of her supporters at gatherings in Blackpool. She had starred in two episodes of the documentary “Noisey Blackpool” alongside Little T and Afghan Dan. At the London premiere of the first episode of the documentary, she also shared a stage performance with them for the first time.

Become a Star

After moving the family from Manchester to Blackpool, Soph Aspin got involved in the grime culture there. When Soph Aspin first began, she posted a video of herself singing on Facebook. She was, however, subjected to mockery and bullying by her classmates at her new school in Blackpool, which led her to become a grime artist. She was BG Media’s first female employee, and she quickly became popular with the audience. But it was her feud with Little T, who was 12 at the time, that made her famous in the middle of 2016. Two more brief feuds with Millie B and Courtney Jade came after it. In December 2016, she started her own YouTube channel and uploaded all of the original videos that had been deleted from the BG Media channel. She also hasn’t given up on singing and hopes to become renowned for her abilities in both grime and singing.

Disputes with other grime musicians

Little T shared the video “Who You Are [Soph Aspin Send],” asking “Why is this girl, yeah, trying to spit?” as the catalyst for Soph Aspin and Little T’s feud. Aspin responded by calling him a “Year 8” in her own video, “Thinkin’ He’s Hard [Little T Reply]”. With ‘Deeper [Soph Aspin Reply]’, Little T responded with a song that was far shorter and hardly contributed enough to the conflict at hand. He collaborated with another rapper Dylan Brewer to release another song to bash Aspin and her frequent dissing companion CallyManSam in retaliation.

Little T left most of the dissing to Brewer in the video, but when he discussed dubious sexual actions, the beef quickly reached hazardous levels for the young rappers. Even when Aspin finally responded with the video “You Know Who (Little T Reply),” she continued to humiliate his mother all the way through it. Nevertheless, it appeared that she was in the lead at this particular moment. Little T had switched from grime to Musical.ly (now TikTok) by the time he responded to her in another song. Later, they reconciled while filming the Blackpool grime documentary.

Early in December 2016, Soph Aspin and Millie B got into a new argument. Millie B sent for Soph Aspin on purpose to question her authority as the legitimate queen of Blackpool grime. Aspin then posted the monotonous song “Are You Mad (Mille B Reply),” only to have Millie respond with the equally mediocre music “Back Again (Soph Aspin Reply),” in which she places herself alongside famous BG Media artists like Afgan Dan, Brewer, and Little T. With her vicious diss song, which also included Little T as a twist, Aspin once again put an end to the conflict in style. Aspin was competing against Courtney Jade, another older girl, in August 2017 but Aspin made it obvious that there was no rivalry between them after fans expressed displeasure with Courtney Jade. Fascinatingly, she had also collaborated with Mille B at this time on the diss tune ‘About That’ directed at Little T.
