Uhm Jung-hwa is a singer, dancer, and actor from South Korea. She has defied all difficulties to become a role model for women all across the world. Childhood and Adolescence

Uhm Jung-hwa was born in Jecheon, North Chungcheong Province, South Korea, on August 17, 1969, to Yoo Gyeong-sook and Uhm Jin-ok. Her father was a music teacher, and she got her talent from him. Sadly, he died in a car accident when she was six years old, and her mother raised her and her brother, Uhm Tae-woong.

In the absence of her father, the family faced financial difficulties. Her mother, on the other hand, was able to provide a rudimentary education to both of her children so that they may follow in their father’s footsteps.

Uhm has always wanted to be a vocalist and began performing at a young age. From 1987 to 1990, she was a part of MBC’s chorus. She discovered her innate ability for acting as she grew older and began appearing in films and television.

She participated in a series of television serials during this time, beginning with ‘Sarang’ in 1990, followed by ‘Remember to Love’ in 1995, and ‘Beautiful Sin’ in 1997. She also appeared in the films ‘Marriage Story,’ ‘Blue Seagull,’ and ‘How to Top My Wife,’ among others.
