Jason Dolley had his first professional acting job in 2002, when he was cast in the lead part in the award-winning short film ‘Chasing Daylight.’ Following that, in September 2004, director Mel Gibson cast him as TJ Savage in the ABC series ‘Complete Savages.’ Due to low ratings, this comedy show was cancelled in June 2005.

When ‘Complete Savages’ was canceled, he played Marty Preston in the family film ‘Saving Shiloh,’ which was released in 2006. It was based on Phyllis Reynolds Naylor’s book of the same name. Jason appeared in the Disney Channel show ‘Cory in the House,’ which was a spin-off of the Disney show ‘That’s So Raven,’ from 2007 to 2008.
