Celeste Professional wrestler and model Beryl Bonin, better known by her ring name Kaitlyn, is most recognized for appearing on famous “World Wrestling Entertainment” (WWE) programs like “WWE NXT” (2010), “WWE Smackdown” (2011), and “WWE Main Event” (2012). In 2006, she began a career in fitness. She was given the opportunity to sign a development contract by “WWE” though after triumphing in a number of bodybuilding and fitness contests, including the “National Physique Committee (NPC) John Sherman Classic Bodybuilding Figure and Fitness Championship.” She made her professional wrestling debut in 2010 at an FCW event under the moniker “Bonin,” however she later changed her name to “Ricki Vaughn.” She then debuted in the ring on September 14, 2010, after joining the third season of “NXT” under the name “Kaitlyn.” After defeating Eve, she went on to become the “Divas Champion” in 2013. She lost to AJ Lee on the “Main Event” in her final WWE bout. In order to concentrate on her marriage and her business, she ended her “WWE” contract in January 2014. Now a businesswoman, she owns and operates a clothing company called Celestial Bodiez. On the independent circuit in 2018, she did make a comeback and defeated Rachael Ellering.

Early Childhood & Life

The United States Celeste Bonin was born in Houston, Texas, on October 7, 1986. At the age of 19, she made her fitness debut in 2006. She ultimately took home the title of “NPC John Sherman Classic Bodybuilding Figure and Fitness Championship” in 2007.

She participated in the “Arnold Classic” “NPC Figure Class D” competition and placed fifth. At “Musclemania Superbody” in 2007, she also placed among the top five competitors in the “Figure Universe-Tall” category.
She received the title of “Miss November” in 2008 from the “Hardfitness Calendar.” She finished 16th in the NPC Figure division at the NPC Junior Nationals later that year.
She was featured in “Flex Magazine” in 2009.

An Earlier Years

The “WWE” scouts were so impressed by her accomplishments that they extended her a developmental deal in 2010.
At a live bikini competition in July 2010, she made her professional debut with the “FCW.” Her real name was “Bonin,” and she competed under that name before switching to “Ricki Vaughn.”

On August 29, 2010, she made her television debut while watching Naomi Knight and AJ Lee square off. On the November 7 episode of “FCW TV,” she made her ring debut as Naomi’s tag-team partner, defeating AJ Lee and Aksana.

On September 7, 2010, Career Bonin and her on-screen coach Vickie Guerrero debuted for the third season of “NXT.” She chose “Kaitlyn” as her last ring name during this visit.
According to the plot, she took over for Aloisia, Guerrero’s previous rookie who was let go by Vickie. Vickie’s then-boyfriend Dolph Ziggler and she made their ring debuts together, defeating AJ Lee and Primo in a mixed tag team bout.

Vickie yelled at her and ordered her to leave the ringside during Ziggler’s fight for the “Intercontinental Championship” at the “Night of Champions,” which was her first pay-per-view. For the ensuing months, a plot with a conflict between her and Vickie was created.

After defeating Naomi in the championship match, she eventually won the third season. On November 30, 2010, she became “WWE’s first-ever Breakout Diva.” She was signed by “WWE Smackdown” after winning on “NXT,” and her debut was scheduled for January 2011. When Kaitlyn and Kelly Kelly made their ‘Smackdown’ debut on January 28, 2011, Layla and Michelle McCool of ‘LayCool’ defeated them.

Together with AJ Lee, she created the tag team known as “The Chickbusters.” Up until Kaitlyn’s first victory in a 14-woman tag-team championship on June 13, 2011, they were defeated by Alicia Fox and Tamina.

For a few months, they fought Fox and Tamina, but then Natalya—the Chickbusters’ on-screen mentor—betrayed AJ Lee by joining Beth Phoenix to form the “Divas of Doom.”

This sparked a new conflict between “The Chickbusters” and the “Divas of Doom,” in which the former suffered continuous defeats. The Chickbusters became tense due to the ongoing losses, and on December 6, during the recording of “Smackdown,” Kaitlyn ultimately parted ways with AJ to join the “Divas of Doom.”

The tape was never broadcast, and “WWE” never apologized for the treachery. On “NXT Redemption,” she engaged in a conflict with Maxine. When Derrick Bateman was still Maxine’s boyfriend, Maxine alleged that Kaitlyn harbored affection for him.

After a few weeks, Kaitlyn kissed Bateman on the show and was then attacked by Maxine. The following night, Kaitlyn defeated Maxine in a fight. After defeating Maxine and Johnny Curtis in a “mixed tag-team” match on March 14, 2012, Bateman gave Kaitlyn a kiss to formalize their engagement.

On April 4, 2012, she was defeated by Natalya, a former mentor, and Tyson Kidd. Natalya later charged Kaitlyn with fawning over Kidd. As a result, Kaitlyn and Tamina defeated Natalya and Maxine in a tag-team match.
Her second notable performance was in a “Smackdown” episode with AJ Lee, during which she attempted to console AJ but was twice physically assaulted by her. On the May 11 “Smackdown” episode, AJ defeated her.

At the “Money in the Bank” event, Kaitlyn competed in her first pay-per-view match, winning against Beth Phoenix, Natalya, and Eve Torres with the help of Layla and Tamina. Later in 2012, after Eve was appointed as her assistant to Booker T, the then-general manager of “Smackdown,” she got into a fight with him.

After Eve defeated her the following week in a bout, she lost the position to the latter. She quickly prevailed in a “battle royal” and raced to the top of the “Divas Championship” field. On September 16, a masked assailant attacked Kaitlyn, seriously hurting her and denying Eve the chance to be her champion. Kaitlyn later attributed the attack to Beth Phoenix, but Eve later disclosed that Aksana was actually responsible.

At “Hell in a Cell,” Kaitlyn had a second chance to win the “Divas Championship,” but she lost to Eve in a triple-threat match. In the January 14 episode of “Raw,” Kaitlyn eventually prevailed against Eve in her hometown to capture the “Divas Championship” after several failed tries.

For 153 days, she defended her title. In the “Elimination Chamber” match against Tamina and the “NXT” matches against Natalya and AJ Lee, with whom she began a new feud, she successfully defended her title. AJ Lee finally prevailed against her at “Payback.”

At the “Summerslam,” Kaitlyn and Ziggler defeated AJ and Langston to win the mixed tag-team championship, putting an end to their feud. Kaitlyn competed in the customary “seven-on-seven elimination” tag-team match at “Survivor Series,” where her team came in last.

She terminated her employment with “WWE” on January 8, 2014. That night’s broadcast of “Main Event,” which featured her final match, saw her fall to AJ Lee. She revealed that she thought of herself as retiring on July 17, 2014. On February 10, 2018, at a show called “Breaking Chains,” she went back into the ring and defeated Rachael Ellering.

She was featured on the cover of “Iron Man” in April 2016. Additionally, she owns and operates the clothing brand Celestial Bodiez. In the “Busy Body Fitness Center” in Boca Raton, Florida, Kaitlyn also opened a smoothie bar in 2015.
