Along with fellow rappers J-Boog and Raz-B, Lil’ Fizz founded the boy band “B2K” (also known as “Boys of the New Millennium”) in 1998. From 1998 through 2004, he participated in this group as a rapper. The group recorded a number of albums and songs during this time, several of which became both critical and commercial successes.

He began a solo singing career when the band disbanded. On July 17, 2007, he issued his debut EP, entitled “Payday.” Two years later, he joined up with J-Boog, another former member of B2K, and Damuer H. Leffridge, his business manager friend, to establish the Popular Entertainment record company. In 2009, the American artist released his EP “Night Life” on this label.
