Early Childhood & Life
Ricky Knight and Sweet Saraya welcomed Saraya-Jade Bevis into the world on August 17, 1992 in Norwich, Norfolk, England. Her parents, who both worked as professional wrestlers, own a tavern. She has a professional wrestler brother named Zak Zodiac and a half-brother named Roy Bevis.
She graduated in 2008 from Norwich’s “The Hewett School,” where she had studied. She initially preferred to become a zoologist rather than pursue a career in wrestling. But because wrestling was a big deal in her family, she didn’t compete until she was 13 when her father forced her to step in for a wrestler who hadn’t shown up.
She took part in a number of wrestling promotion events in the US and Europe by the age of 14. She competed in singles championships unsuccessfully as well as the women’s championship of the “World Wide Wrestling League” (W3L), where she was defeated by Sara in the finals. At the age of 15, she additionally worked at her parents’ pub as a bartender and a bouncer.

Paige made her debut in the third episode of “NXT,” the renamed version of “FCW,” where she was defeated by Cortez. By September 2012, she had returned and had defeated Sasha Banks, Audrey Marie, and Alicia Fox. In spite of a shoulder ailment, she defeated Summer Rae in a singles match in 2013 after a protracted feud with the latter. The following year, she was crowned the “NXT Women’s Champion.” After being promoted to the main roster and winning the ‘Divas Championship’ in 2014, she eventually relinquished her championship.
She was the only woman to simultaneously hold the “NXT Woman’s Champion” title and the youngest wrestler to win the “Divas Championship” at age 21. In January 2015, she won numerous matches to defend her championship, and she quickly gained popularity.
She competed against wrestlers including Alicia Fox, Charlotte, and Becky Lynch between 2015 and 2016. She experienced a lot of victories and losses, as well as some injuries. 2016 saw her receive a 30-day suspension for disregarding wellness regulations. She was also accused of utilizing illicit drugs.
After having neck surgery, she eventually made a comeback in 2017. She had yet another serious neck injury in a six-woman tag-team bout in December of that same year, forcing the referee to call time on the match. She then formally ended her career in wrestling.
