Solomia Lukyanets is an opera vocalist from Ukraine who rose to prominence after appearing on “The Voice Kids Ukraine” and “The Voice Kids Germany.” Solomia, a native of Kyiv, began singing at the age of three. Ascend to Fame

In the inaugural episode of the Ukrainian adaptation of ‘The Voice Kids’, Solomia performed her blind audition. She convinced all three evaluators, Tina Karol, Oleg Skrypka, and Svitlana Loboda, to turn their chairs for her performance of ‘Gopher Mambo’ by Yma Sumac. The competition program premiered on November 4, 2012, to positive reviews. The music competition reality show, like its UK and US counterparts, sought a prospective singing sensation among the thousands of applicants.

After being coached by Karol, Solomia performed “Chornobrivtsi” in week seven and defeated Polina Yugay and Valeria Khomenko with her performance. On episode nine, which was broadcast on 30 December, Solomia performed ‘5th element’ and was voted into the finals by the audience.

The competition’s final round was broadcast on January 6, 2013. In the first round, each remaining contestant sang a solo composition. Solomia performed ‘Time to Say Goodbye’ by Andrea Bocelli and advanced to the second round based on a public vote.

In the second round, she sang “Vyshe Oblakov,” which was originally performed by her mentor, Tina Karol. Anna Tkach was declared the champion of the first season of ‘The Voice Kids (Ukraine)’, defeating Solomia in the end.

Solomia participated in season three of ‘The Voice Kids (Germany)’ after moving to Germany. She performed her anonymous audition for this rendition of ‘The Voice Kids’ on a March 6, 2015 episode. When she sang “Time to Say Goodbye,” all three judges swiveled in their recliners. In the end, Solomia was eliminated from the competition during the combat rounds.

In her young career, she has also won first place at the World of Talents (Kiev, Ukraine) in 2005, the World of Talents International in 2006, the Magic Candle International in 2007, the New Wave Junior in 2009, and the International Competition of young opera singers by Elena Obraztsova in 2010. In addition, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation presented her with the “Pride of the Country” award for “rare talent” in 2010.
