Jess Glynne was born in Hampstead, England, on October 20, 1989, to Jewish parents Laurence Glynne, an estate agent, and Alexandra (née Ingram), who worked in the ‘A&R’ division of ‘Atlantic Records.’ Her grandfather altered the family’s original name, Goldstein, to Glynne.
