Ivica Dacic is the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia at now. Prior to assuming his current position, he held the position of prime minister. Ivica Dacic was born in Prizren, Kosovo, on January 1, 1966, however, he was raised and lived the majority of his life in Serbia.

In 2008, he was appointed First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of Serbia.
After the 2012 elections, Dacic became the prime minister of the coalition government that came to power.

Despite his distance from Slobodan Milosevic, Ivica Dacic has maintained some of his prior positions. He has asserted multiple times in public that the Serbian government will never recognize Kosovo as a sovereign independent entity.
