Childhood and Adolescence

Logan Phillip Henderson was born in Texas on September 14, 1989, to Lebanese-American parents Jeffrey Lynn Henderson and Pamela Ann Wright.

His parents were die-hard music fans, and the atmosphere in the house was always upbeat. Logan would spend hours listening to blues and rock music with his brother Presley, and he acquired a taste for singing.

Logan was an avid gymnast in high school, which opened the road for him to live an active and healthy lifestyle. His first acting break came in the shape of ‘Friday Night Lights,’ which exposed him to the vast opportunities available to him as an actor. At the age of 18, he decided to pursue acting further and moved to Hollywood.

Logan remained upbeat and confident despite rejections despite not knowing how to get started in the entertainment industry despite completing an acting school.

He continued to hone his acting skills at home, while the music kept him cool and composed during the difficult period of severe struggle that every actor eventually faces.

The Career of Logan

Logan states that his guest role on ‘Friday Night Lights’ saw him get into a battle with the lead character Smash, that it was the coolest experience of his life, and that it convinced him that acting was the only thing he wanted to do.

Logan gained enough confidence as a result of his brief appearance on ‘Friday Night Lights,’ and he began applying for various roles.

He was eventually cast in the lead part of Logan Mitchell in the children’s comedy musical ‘Big Time Rush,’ in which he portrays the leader of his group and the voice of reason for everyone.

Logan’s singing abilities were a key part of why he got the part, as the show was essentially a musical, and music played a big role in every other episode.

In 2009, the musical band from the show established a real-life band called ‘Big Time Rush,’ which signed with Sony Music and Columbia Records.

The band performed in the 2011 version of the most popular kid’s award show in America, as well as in the 2010 and 2013 Kid’s Choice Awards.

Henderson also made an appearance on ‘Brainsurge,’ a popular game show, in 2011. Henderson performed on ‘Figure It Out’ again in June 2012, this time with his band ‘Big Time Rush.’ Henderson had established himself as one of the most popular adolescent icons and Nickelodeon stars at that time.

After signing with Columbia Records, the band recorded a number of songs, including ‘Halfway There,’ ‘Til I Forget About You,’ and ‘City is Ours.’

Meanwhile, the band worked on their debut album, ‘B.T.R.,’ which was published in 2010, and on which Logan shared the songwriter credit for the song ‘Oh Yeah!’.

Surprisingly, the album was a smash hit, debuting at #3 on the Billboard 200 and topping the iTunes digital albums chart. The album was certified gold by the RIAA in both the United States and Mexico, and the band began touring with the songs to earn more exposure and fans.

Excited by the massive success of their debut album, the band released ‘Elevate,’ on which Logan, in addition to supplying vocals, performed guitar and keyboard. ‘Music Sounds Better With You,’ ‘Superstar,’ and ‘Love me Love me’ were also co-written by him.

Logan shared co-writing credits on the band’s third album, ’24/seven,’ which was released in 2013, and he also sang and played instruments on the album.

Logan began taking his solo music career seriously after a recommendation from a friend, and in January 2017, he published the song “Sleepwalker.”

Apart from his musical accomplishments, Logan has been a regular on television, appearing on shows such as ‘How to Rock,’ ‘Marvin Marvin,’ ‘Figure it Out,’ and ‘Big Time Beach Party,’ among others.

He has publicly voiced his ambition to work in a film, and given the positive feedback he is receiving, the road to Hollywood doesn’t appear to be too long.

Personal Experiences

Logan has kept his personal life discreet, but the announcement that he is dating his ‘Big Time Rush’ co-star Erin Sanders caused quite a stir. His current relationship status, however, is unknown.

Logan is friends with Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and Cody Linley, having taken acting workshops with them. Logan, on the other hand, prefers to be alone and enjoys exploring new locations on his own.
