OMI is a popular Jamaican singer best known for his single “Cheerleader,” which became a hit. Later, a variety of singers, including German DJ Felix Jaehn, remixed the tune. He is currently signed to Ultra Music, and in 2015 he issued his first studio album, Me 4 U. The amiable singer/songwriter has recorded a number of singles to date as both a main and featured performer. OMI has come a long way from rapping during lunchtime and writing music at the age of 14 to becoming one of the top current pop stars. He was affected by music as a kid and received his earliest inspiration from his late father, who taught him the skills he would need before leaving this world. Since that time, the Jamaican musician has been venturing out on his own and developing original words and music. He is passionate about other elements of music production in addition to singing. OMI was brought up with his three brothers, personally. He prioritizes spending time with them because he is very close to his mother and brothers.
