American football player Desmond Demond Bryant competes for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League as a wide receiver (NFL). He eventually relocated to Lufkin, Texas, where he attended Lufkin High School and became interested in football. He participated in football for the Panthers.
As a junior, he caught 48 receptions for 1025 yards and 16 touchdowns. He contributed to Lufkin’s 14-1 record alongside defensive lineman Jamarcus McFarland. During his senior year, he caught 53 passes for a total of 1207 yards. Although Round Rock defeated Lufkin 38-25 in the regional round of the playoffs, Lufkin finished the regular season 11-1 overall. Bryant participated in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl following the season.

Career in College
From 2007 through 2009, Dez Bryant studied at Oklahoma State University. He joined the Oklahoma State Cowboys football team during this time. He showed himself to be a very effective athlete. In a game against the Washington Redskins in September 2010, he made his NFL debut. In his first game, he recorded eight receptions for 56 yards. With 45 receptions for 56 yards and six receiving touchdowns, he ended his debut season.
